The Missouri is also known as the world's largest spring creek. Known for its blanket hatches and trophy trout, the "Mo" gives it up day in and day out. The average rainbow is 17 inches and the browns run a bit bigger. Did I forget to mention that there are 5,000 (give or take) fish per river mile? Like the Bighorn minus the buttheads and more dries. These fish aren't pushovers, but if you can shoot a line, it's Montana Fly Fishing at its finest. Let's go hunt some heads!

The Bitterroot may be the best kept secret in all of Montana Fly Fishing - shhhh!!!!! If you want variety - be it species or water - this is the place. We do 50% of our trips here and it shows. From the fast freestone upper reaches chock-filled with cutthroats to the braided backwaters of the middle river(aka Land of Giant Brown Trout), this is our bread and butter. It hosts the first stonefly hatch in the west, and it gets every fish in the river up and eating! The premier dry fly fishery in Montana, if not the country.

The Clark Fork runs right through Missoula and is home to a special breed. The rainbows here are legendary for their strength. The hardest fighting Montana trout you have ever seen . . . guaranteed. The upper river is a streamer fisherman's paradise. Think under cut banks and jaws. The sections below town are a virtual insect factory. Find the pod of risers and fish it, then go to the next and repeat. There is no better caddis hatch to be found. We have an evening fly fishing program that will make your arm sore. You will be picking caddis out of your ears for days.

The Blackfoot is Missoula Montana Fly Fishing legend and for good reason. It winds its way through some of the most beautiful country in Montana. Its finest point is a healthy population of eager trout that will rise with abandon to the fattest dry flies you can imagine. The Blackfoot also has the potential for the grand slam of trout fishing. From bottomless pools to fast pocket water, you will find it here. A float through the canyon will take you back in time and leave you wanting more!
